What is the Opportunity Scholarship Program?
The NC Opportunity Scholarship (OS) expands school choice for students in kindergarten through 8th grade by providing from $3,360 to up to $7,468 per year toward tuition for eligible students who choose to attend a participating nonpublic school such as St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School. This program is open to ALL families, regardless of zip code or income, for the 2025-2026 school year.

| Feb 1, 2025 | Application opens. Families who apply early will receive a higher priority in the lottery process. All families are encouraged to apply. Each year additional funds will be available and if your family is in the system, there is more of a chance to be awarded tuition funds. |
| Mar 1, 2025 | Application deadline to receive priority consideration. Families who apply after March 1 will be considered on a first come, first served basis. |

ADMINISTERED THROUGH ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA CATHOLIC PARISH
St. Catherine of Siena Parish is committed to helping families obtain financial assistance to ensure that financial needs do not prevent a family from attending St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School. The FACTS Grant and Aid program is used to help the Financial Director, Pastor and Principal determine if a student may qualify for tuition assistance from the parish. An application has to be submitted to the school office to be considered for financial aid.
Application open starting January 1, 2025 with a deadline of March 15, 2025.
